Arturo J\u00e1uregui lleg\u00f3 a Estados Unidos a los 15 a\u00f1os, inmigrante de Teocaltiche, con el sue\u00f1o de crear oportunidades a trav\u00e9s de la educaci\u00f3n, la defensa de los derechos y el servicio a su comunidad. With this in mind, the firm wanted to create a website that not only represents its legal work but also honors the creativity and spirit of the community through the work of talented artists like Oscar Romero and others whose pieces capture the essence of Pilsen.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t

Jauregui & Asociadas comenz\u00f3<\/h3>\n\t\t\t

In 1995, attorney Jauregui founded Jauregui & Associates, PC with the mission of helping injured clients and serving as a trusted legal resource for the community. In 1998, he partnered with Edward J. Santiago to further expand the firm’s reach. For the next 28 years, the firm successfully represented countless clients from its downtown Chicago office, securing numerous multimillion-dollar settlements.<\/p>\n

In 2015, the Pilsen Law Center opened its doors to the Pilsen community, reinforcing the firm’s commitment to the neighborhood that helped found it. As part of this mission, attorney Jauregui restored a building that had been abandoned for more than 25 years, creating a space dedicated to advocating for community rights and providing legal support.<\/p>\n\t\t

Antes de fundar Jauregui & Associates, P.C., el abogado Jauregui trabaj\u00f3 durante 10 a\u00f1os en el Fondo Mexicano-Estadounidense de Defensa Legal y Educativa (MALDEF), cuatro de ellos como director. Durante este tiempo, testific\u00f3 ante el Congreso de los Estados Unidos en apoyo de leyes de inmigraci\u00f3n justas. Al inicio de su carrera legal, el abogado Jauregui tambi\u00e9n defendi\u00f3 un caso de educaci\u00f3n biling\u00fce ante el Tribunal Federal de Circuito, contribuyendo a establecer directrices federales para la educaci\u00f3n biling\u00fce en Illinois.
