Arturo Jauregui arrived in the United States as a 15-year-old immigrant from Teocaltiche with a dream of creating opportunities through education, advocacy, and service to his community. After graduating from law school, he returned to Chicago determined to provide accessible legal services and advocate for underserved communities.  

Located in the heart of Pilsen, where art serves as a powerful expression of culture, history, and community pride, the Pilsen Law Center strives to reflect those same values throughout the firm. Art has long been an essential part of Pilsen’s identity, telling the stories of resilience, unity, and advocacy that define the neighborhood. With that in mind, the firm wanted to create a website that not only represents its legal work, but also honors the creativity and spirit of the community through the work of talented artists such as Oscar Romero and others whose artwork captures the essence of Pilsen.

In 1995, Attorney Jauregui founded Jauregui & Associates, P.C. with the mission of helping injured clients and serving as a trusted legal resource for the community. In 1998, he partnered with Edward J. Santiago to further grow the firm’s impact. Over the next 28 years, the firm successfully represented countless clients from its downtown Chicago office, securing numerous multi-million-dollar settlements.

In 2015, the Pilsen Law Center opened its doors to the Pilsen community, further strengthening the firm’s commitment to serving the neighborhood that helped shape its foundation. As part of that mission, Attorney Jauregui restored a building that had been abandoned for more than 25 years, creating a space dedicated to community advocacy and legal support.
